Product Description
Esila White Tea is a blend containing white tea, green tea and flavouring, presented in a pack of 20 tea bags. Both white and green tea come from the tea plant, Camellia sinensis. White tea is generally made from young leaves and buds, while green tea also uses the leaves of this plant. The tea ingredients in this blend therefore represent two tea styles with the same botanical origin.
The botanicals for this natural tea are gathered in Hatay and Anatolia. They are dried in the shade, sorted by hand and also packed by hand. The product contains no colourings. These preparation details cover both the drying method and the manual work involved in sorting and packing. Behind the tea is Esila, a brand with 30 years of preparing botanical products in İskenderun, Hatay.
Tea bags can be brewed with hot water in a cup or teapot; follow the preparation directions on the product label. For serving, choose a porcelain cup or a glass tea cup. Plain biscuits, cookies or savoury pastries can accompany the tea at the table. A teapot and matching cups suit a shared tea setting, while a small tray provides a serving arrangement for an individual cup.
