Artichoke is a perennial member of the daisy family, familiar in cooking for its unopened flower heads. Here, it is offered as tea by Esila, a brand that has prepared herbal products in İskenderun, Hatay, for 30 years.
Esila Artichoke Tea is a natural product made only from dried botanicals. The plants are dried in the shade rather than in direct sunlight. They are sorted by hand, and packing is also carried out by hand. Both of these stages involve manual work. No flavourings are added to the tea, and it contains no colourings: the contents consist solely of dried botanicals for preparing herbal tea.

Put a tea bag or a teaspoon of the dried herb in a cup, pour over hot water and steep for 5–7 minutes. For green and white teas, water at 80 °C and 3 minutes are enough.
