Product Description
İNSÜ TEA is a stevia and lupin herbal tea with stevia making up 20% of the blend. Its ingredients also include felty germander, bitter lupin, bitter almond, black cumin, rosemary, okra flower, cinnamon, pine gum, cypress cone, turmeric, olive leaf and mahalep. The blend brings together botanical materials including leaves, flowers, spices, gum and cones. It comes in filter tea bags, with 45 bags of 2 g each in a pack weighing 90 g in total.
The botanicals in this natural tea are gathered in Hatay and Anatolia. They are dried in the shade, then sorted by hand, with packing also carried out by hand. İNSÜ TEA contains only dried botanicals: no flavourings or colourings are added to the blend. Esila has been preparing herbal products in Hatay İskenderun for 30 years, and this tea is made using shade-drying, hand-sorting and hand-packing.

Put a tea bag or a teaspoon of the dried herb in a cup, pour over hot water and steep for 5–7 minutes. For green and white teas, water at 80 °C and 3 minutes are enough.

Brew the filter tea bags in a cup or teapot and serve as a herbal infusion. Read the product label before preparing. A teapot and cups make room for herbal tea at the table. Cinnamon, rosemary and mahalep, all present in this blend, are also familiar kitchen ingredients. Cinnamon is generally known for warm, woody notes, rosemary for a sharp herbal scent, and mahalep for an almond-like aroma. Mahalep appears in baked goods, cinnamon in desserts and rosemary in savoury dishes.
