Sultan Winter Tea is a 200 g herbal blend with 13 ingredients: linden, ginger, sage, rose hips, marshmallow flower, cinnamon, cloves, turmeric, galangal, hibiscus, chamomile, thyme and mint. Its ingredients span flowers, fruits and plant parts commonly used as spices. Rose hips are the fruits of wild roses, cinnamon comes from tree bark, and cloves are dried flower buds. Ginger, turmeric and galangal are known for their culinary rhizomes.
The botanicals for Sultan Winter Tea are gathered in Hatay and Anatolia. They are dried in the shade, then sorted by hand and packed by hand. This natural blend consists only of dried botanicals, without added flavourings or colourings. Its aromatic character therefore comes from the listed plants and spices. Esila, which has prepared herbal products in Hatay’s İskenderun for 30 years, uses these drying and handling steps for this tea.

Put a tea bag or a teaspoon of the dried herb in a cup, pour over hot water and steep for 5–7 minutes. For green and white teas, water at 80 °C and 3 minutes are enough.
