Product Description
Esila Bitter Melon Mixed Herbal Tea contains bitter melon, frankincense, flax seed, clary sage, black seed, nettle and St. John's wort. Bitter melon, which gives the blend its name, is a climbing plant in the gourd family, known for its textured fruit. Flax seed and black seed also have familiar places in cooking. Rather than a single-herb tea, this is a seven-ingredient blend that includes botanicals known for their aromatic character, such as clary sage and frankincense.
The botanicals in this natural tea are gathered in Hatay and Anatolia. They are dried in the shade, sorted by hand and packed by hand. The recipe contains only dried botanicals, with no flavourings or colourings added. Esila has prepared herbal products in Hatay's İskenderun for 30 years. For this blend, the preparation follows those stated steps, from shade-drying the gathered botanicals to hand-sorting and packing the finished mixture.
