Product Description
Esila Mixed Herbal Paste with Artichoke comes in a 420 g pack and contains artichoke leaf alongside several other botanical ingredients. The blend includes chicory, fumitory and oat extract, as well as khella seeds, flaxseed and black cumin. Artichoke is familiar in cooking for its edible flower base; this recipe uses the leaf. Thyme, rosemary and turmeric complete the botanical selection, which spans leaves, seeds, herbs and an extract.
This paste is prepared with a base of honey and grape molasses and contains no preservatives. Both honey and grape molasses are ingredients in the recipe, forming the base for the botanical blend. Honey is known for flavour and aroma notes that vary with the flowers visited by bees, while grape molasses has the sweet character associated with grapes. Esila, which makes this honey-and-molasses-based paste, has been preparing herbal products in İskenderun, Hatay, for 30 years.
