Product Description
Esila Black Myrobalan BSR Mixed Herbal Paste contains black myrobalan alongside several other botanical ingredients. Black myrobalan is the fruit of the Terminalia chebula tree, and its dried fruit is used in traditional herbal mixtures. This recipe also includes couch grass, black cumin, horse chestnut, senna, bay seeds and zedoary. The paste is made by Esila, a brand that has prepared herbal products in İskenderun, Hatay, for 30 years.
This paste is prepared with a honey and grape molasses base and contains no preservatives. Both honey and grape molasses appear in the recipe, alongside the botanical ingredients. These two ingredients are familiar in traditional paste recipes for their sweetness and thick consistency. In general, honey can have floral notes that vary with the flowers visited by bees, while grape molasses has a fruity character that varies with the grapes used.
