Product Description
Esila Celery Seed and Willowherb Herbal Paste comes in a 420 g pack and includes both celery seed and willowherb among its botanical ingredients. Celery seeds are small, aromatic seeds also used as a culinary spice, including in pickles and seasoning blends. Here, they are included alongside willowherb and other botanicals in a paste. Esila has prepared botanical products in Hatay İskenderun for 30 years. The stated pack-weight tolerance is ± 4%.
This paste is made with a base of 50% honey and 30% grape molasses and contains no preservatives. Celery seed accounts for 5% of the recipe, with willowherb at 3%. The other botanical ingredients are sweet flag, immortelle, yarrow, horsetail and hibiscus. Honey and grape molasses together make up 80% of the mixture. As ingredients, honey is associated with floral sweetness, grape molasses with fruity notes, and celery seed with a savoury, spicy aroma.
