Product Description
Esila Cinchona Paste contains 15% cinchona and comes in a 420 g pack. Its plant ingredients include grape seed, carob powder and mustard seed. Carob trees bear long pods, which are used in cooking as ground powder and as molasses. Both preparations feature in this recipe: carob powder is included alongside the seeds, while carob molasses is one of the ingredients used in the paste's base.
The base of this paste is made with honey, carob molasses and grape molasses. It contains no preservatives, sugar syrup or glucose. Alongside honey, the recipe includes the bee products propolis, royal jelly and pollen. Cinnamon is another plant ingredient in the blend. The ingredient list therefore includes two types of molasses alongside honey, seeds and cinnamon. Esila brings 30 years of preparing botanical products in Hatay İskenderun to this paste.
