Product Description

Esila Green Tea comes in a pack of 20 tea bags, each containing 2 g, for a total net weight of 40 g. Green tea is made from the leaves of the tea plant, Camellia sinensis. As a tea type, it is generally associated with grassy and leafy notes and is often enjoyed on its own. The tea bag format allows cup brewing without a separate loose-leaf strainer.

The botanicals used for Esila Green Tea are gathered in Hatay and Anatolia. They are dried in the shade, sorted by hand and packed by hand. This natural tea contains only dried botanicals, with no flavourings or colourings. Handwork is part of both the sorting and packing stages. Based in Hatay İskenderun, Esila has prepared botanical products for 30 years, and prepares this green tea using these gathering, drying and packing steps.

Green tea can be prepared by brewing it in a cup with hot water. Serving it plain lets you explore the tea type’s generally grassy character without adding other ingredients. For a tea table, biscuits or savoury crackers can be served separately alongside the drink. A porcelain cup, saucer and small serving tray provide a tabletop setting. Tea bags can be used with a tea tray at home or in an office kitchen.
