Product Description
Esila Castor Oil is a plant oil obtained from castor seeds and supplied in a 50 ml pack. The castor plant, botanically known as Ricinus communis, has broad, deeply lobed leaves. Its seeds develop inside capsule-shaped fruits and have mottled surfaces. These seeds are the raw material used to obtain castor oil. Grown in warm climates, the plant can have green or reddish foliage, while its fruit capsules are typically covered with spines.
Esila Castor Oil is obtained by cold pressing. Mechanical pressure separates the oil from the solid parts of the seeds, without applying external heat during extraction. Castor oils are generally known for a thick, slow-flowing texture, which can be particularly noticeable when poured compared with thinner plant oils. Esila, the brand behind this castor oil, has been preparing plant-based products in Hatay İskenderun for 30 years.
