Product Description

Esila Hemp Seed Oil is made from the seeds of the hemp plant and comes in a 250 ml pack. Hemp seeds are small and roughly rounded, with shells that can range from grey to brown and often have a mottled surface. Oils made from these seeds are generally associated with mild, nutty and grassy notes. In cooking, hemp seed oil is commonly found in salad dressings and other cold preparations.

Esila has prepared botanical products in İskenderun, Hatay, for 30 years and presses this oil at its own facility in Hatay. Hemp seeds are pressed without applied heat to make this natural, cold-pressed oil. It contains a single ingredient: hemp seed oil, with no oils from other plants blended in. The product is additive-free, with no preservatives added. No essences are added to introduce a separate fragrance.

Cold dressings made with hemp seed oil can include lemon juice or vinegar. Chopped parsley or dill can accompany these ingredients. Grated carrot, sliced cucumber and leafy greens are examples of salad ingredients that work with this kind of dressing. Serve the dressing separately at the table or toss it with the salad. Oil and herb mixtures served alongside bread are another common culinary use for hemp seed oil.
