Flaxseed oil can be used in salad dressings and cold recipes. Dressings made with lemon juice or vinegar are examples of its place in the kitchen. It can serve as the oil component in a dressing for chopped vegetable salads, or be mixed into a cold sauce with yogurt and herbs. Prepare the dressing separately and add it when serving, choosing the lemon, vinegar and herbs to suit the other ingredients.
