Product Description

Esila Garlic Oil is a plant oil available in a 20 ml pack. Garlic grows as an underground bulb made up of individual cloves beneath a thin outer skin. The cloves are the part commonly used in cooking. In Anatolian kitchens, garlic appears in pickles, sauces, vegetable dishes and yogurt-based recipes. Depending on the recipe, the cloves may be left whole, chopped or crushed, with garlic yogurt and pickled vegetables among familiar examples.

Esila Garlic Oil is cold-pressed without heat at the brand’s own facility in Hatay. Esila has been preparing plant-based products in İskenderun, Hatay, for 30 years and presses this oil at its own premises. The oil is natural and additive-free, made from a single plant: garlic. No other oils are blended into it, and no preservatives or fragrance are added.

Garlic, the raw ingredient used for this oil, is known for its pungent scent and pronounced aroma. A whole clove has a less noticeable smell than garlic that has been cut or crushed. Chopping and crushing make its aroma more apparent. Raw garlic has a sharp character, while cooked garlic develops sweeter notes. Roasting can also bring out toasted aromas, giving garlic different sensory qualities depending on how it is prepared.
