Product Description
Esila Terebinth Soap takes its name from the terebinth oil in its ingredients and comes as a 135 g bar. Terebinth bears small fruits from which oil is obtained for traditional soap making. This fruit-derived oil is one of the plant ingredients used in the craft, and olive oil also features in this soap. Esila has been preparing herbal products in İskenderun, Hatay, for 30 years.
The ingredient list reads, in order: terebinth oil, deionized water, olive oil, soap base and salt. Terebinth and olive provide the two plant oils named in the list. Both oils come from fruit: terebinth fruit for the first and olives for the second. These oils have a place in traditional soap making. Water, soap base and salt complete the five ingredients listed for this soap.
