Bay Leaf Oil 10 ml

Esila Bay Leaf Oil is a botanical oil obtained from the leaves of the bay laurel plant, supplied in a 10 ml size. Bay laurel is an evergreen associated with Mediterranean vegetation and can grow as a shrub or small tree. Its elongated, leathery leaves have gently wavy edges and grow alternately along the branches. These aromatic leaves are the plant material used for this oil.

This natural bay leaf oil is cold-pressed at Esila's own facility in Hatay, with no heat applied during pressing. Made from bay leaves alone, it is a single-ingredient, additive-free oil. No other oils are blended into it, and neither preservatives nor fragrance essences are added. Esila, which presses this oil in its own facility, has prepared botanical products in İskenderun, Hatay, for 30 years.

Bay leaves are known for a distinctive aroma with herbal, woody and lightly spicy notes. Their aromatic character also makes them a familiar ingredient in Mediterranean cooking. Dried bay leaves are used to add aroma to slow-cooked dishes, sauces and pickling preparations. Alongside their spicy character, the leaves can have resinous notes that contribute to their recognisable scent. The leaves of this aromatic plant are the raw material for Esila Bay Leaf Oil.
