Product Description
Esila Clove Oil is a botanical oil offered in a 10 ml size. Clove comes from an evergreen tree known for its flower buds: the buds used as a spice are gathered before the flowers open and then dried. Their slender stems and rounded heads give whole cloves their familiar shape. Esila has been preparing botanical products in Hatay İskenderun for 30 years. The clove tree, Syzygium aromaticum, belongs to the myrtle family.
Dried clove buds are known for a pronounced, warm spice fragrance with woody notes and a lightly sweet aromatic edge. This character also explains their place in cooking: whole cloves feature in fruit compotes and traditional sherbets, while ground cloves appear in baking and spice blends. Often paired with cinnamon or cardamom, clove has a distinctly pungent aroma. The rounded heads and narrow stems remain clearly visible in the brown, dried whole spice.
