Product Description
Esila Parsley Oil is a botanical oil available in a 20 ml size. Esila has been preparing botanical products in İskenderun, Hatay, for 30 years. The herb that gives this oil its name belongs to the Apiaceae family and is widely grown for its leaves. Parsley has flat-leaf and curly-leaf varieties, divided leaves and small clustered flowers. Known botanically as Petroselinum crispum, it is a biennial plant.
Parsley leaves are known for their grassy scent and fresh, green aroma. In Turkish cooking, chopped leaves often appear in salads, pastry fillings and as a finishing touch on dishes. Eastern Mediterranean recipes such as tabbouleh give parsley a prominent place. Whole leaves are also used for presentation, while chopped leaves are mixed through other ingredients. Lemon, tomato and onion are familiar companions to parsley leaves in the kitchen.
